We’re seeking an Operations Manager to support our growth and enhance our operational efficiency.
Job Overview
Reporting directly to the Creative Director/Owner, the Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly. This role requires someone who can take initiative, manage the team effectively, and uphold our brand’s commitment to quality and excellence. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, solutions-oriented, and passionate about local business.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee Daily Operations: Manage daily business functions, ensuring projects and orders are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
- Team Coordination: Supervise and support the team in their primary roles, helping to optimize workflow and solve challenges. Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Process Optimization: Evaluate current processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity without compromising quality.
- Vendor & Supply Chain Management: Coordinate with suppliers to maintain inventory levels and manage relationships with key partners.
- Budget Oversight: Assist in budgeting, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities to maximize profitability.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure that our customers consistently have a top-notch experience by maintaining quality control and promptly resolving any operational issues.
- Reporting & Analytics: Generate reports on performance metrics and operational efficiency to provide actionable insights to the Creative Director/Owner.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and maintain a safe, organized workspace.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3 years of experience in operations management..
- Skills: Strong organizational and leadership skills, excellent communication, and a knack for problem-solving.
- Tech Proficiency: Familiar with business management tools, Microsoft Office, and inventory management software.
- Hands-On Approach: Willingness to take on a variety of tasks and contribute wherever needed.
- Knowledge of the Local Market: Understanding of Newfoundland’s unique business landscape and customer base.
- Education: Post-secondary education in Business, Operations, or a related field (preferred but not required).
